Shipping & Returns Policy

- Shipping -

- READY TO SHIP items are usually shipped within 1-3 business days of the order being placed. DYED TO ORDER items take 3-5 business days to dye, then 1-3 business to process and ship. When we are in show season, we try to ship on Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday, depending on our travel schedule. Therefor Ready to Ship can ship right away when we get home, but Dyed-to-Order may take longer to process (as we may be out of town when the order is placed), and the time frame can be found on our Shipping Schedule Page.

-We DO NOT ship partial orders! This means that if your order a ready to ship item with a dyed to order item, both items will ship when the dyed to order item is ready. If you purchase any items with a CLUB item, all items will ship when the club item mails out.

- We ship internationally! If you are having any complications at checkout because you are out of country, contact us and we will work with you to resolve this!

- International shipping is weight based, USPS First Class Package International. However, we will upgrade your package to Priority International if your items fit in a USPS Priority Flat Rate Box and this option is cheaper than First Class, at which time we will refund your difference in shipping.

- All Domestic orders ship USPS First Class and take an average of 3-5 days to ship unless exceeding 1 lb., and then are upgraded to USPS Priority 2-3 day shipping.
PLEASE NOTE: Once a package enters the USPS system, we are no longer responsible for your package. I know that you are anxious to receive you order, but please refer to your TRACKING NUMBER (see next bullet point). We can no longer answer inquiries about packages delayed through the postal system, as we have no longer any control over those items. Thank you for understanding.

- Has your order Shipped? You will receive an email notifying you of when your package has begun processing. You will receive a separate email from PayPal with your tracking number when your package is entered into the USPS database. The email from PayPal will be sent to whichever email you use in the PayPal checkout terminal!

- Please be aware that we are unable to refund or replace items that are damaged or misplaced by USPS. If you would like your order insured, please contact me for shipping pricing prior to placing your order.

- Returns and Exchanges Policy-

Color Disclaimer: Although we do our best to capture and portray colors of our products accurately, we cannot be held liable for reasonable differences in the photo of item ordered and the item you receive. Each of our yarns are dyed individually, and although we pride ourselves in our consistency of color, each yarn is unique! This is what makes a Bumblebee Acres yarn a work of art and special to you! There are also factors outside of our control: like changing to a new pot of dye (dye lots can vary from our dye suppliers) and differences in monitor/screen settings.

If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, we are very sorry to hear that. Please contact us prior to opening a dispute with your financial agency to see if we can sort out any complaint ourselves.

We offer a limited returns and exchanges policy.

Please note that we do NOT offer returns or exchanges on the following: custom orders, Advent Calendars, Clubs, and dyed-to-order items.

If you wish to return or exchange an item purchased online:

Please email us to notify us that you would like to return or exchange your item. In the contact form, please specify the date you purchased the item with your order number. Return shipping is the responsibility of the customer.* Please email us with the item's tracking # when item ships.

Returned items should be unused and unworn (if applicable) and must be returned in original packaging with any enclosed documentation specified by us during your return process. We will issue a full refund on receipt, excluding the original delivery charge and shipping of a new item in event of an exchange. We will be happy to exchange the item.

Please note:
Goods will only be accepted for return if they are returned within 14 days of delivery, unless we have notified you otherwise.

The item is your responsibility until it reaches us. Therefore for your own protection we recommend that you send the parcel using a delivery service that insures you for the value of the goods.

*The cost of returning the item to us is your responsibility. Delivery charges are only refundable where goods are faulty and a refund is made. If you wish to exchange an item for another, you will be required to pay any difference in cost of item as well as shipping via a PayPal Invoice BEFORE your exchange is fully processed.

We will refund an item if it is faulty, after a thorough check of the item. Please allow 7 business days for a refund to be processed.

If the item does not meet the requirements of our inspection process and has been opened, worn, or damaged, we WILL NOT refund or exchange the item and return shipping of item to the customer is at the customer's expense.

We do not refund or exchange items purchased at a fiber festival or other event.

Of course every situation is unique, so please contact us if you wish to process an exchange or return and we will be happy to assist you!

There will be a 25% restocking and return fee for all SpinOlution products that are returned unused/undamaged, buyer is responsible for return shipping. Refund of returned item (less 25% for manufacturer's products) will be issued when item arrives at Bumblebee Acres Farm in the condition in which it was sent (new and completely unused). Buyer must contact Bumblebee Acres FArm within 5 business days of receiving item concerning returns and must be shipped back to Bumblebee Acres Farm in original & undamaged packaging within 5 business days of contacting us about the return. *If your item is damaged in the mail please contact us immediately.
